Reliable Home Supply’s 71 years of selling appliances, furniture, and carpeting is attributed to the hard work of the employees and the Hashin Family.
Started by Mike Hashin Sr. as a door-to-door sales operation, it became an appliance and television store at 110 Sunbury St., Minersville. Michael Hashin Jr. expanded the business and added furniture at the present location of 217-223 Sunbury St., with convenient parking behind the store.
In the fall of 2016, Michael Hashin III had a shoulder injury and was able to come into the store and work side by side with this father, learning the business. With the passing of Mike Hashin Jr this past July it was a blessing to able to spend precious months with his Dad.
The beautifully accessorized furniture department is located on the main floor. It features Norwalk and England gallery showroom. Norwalk has over 1000 fabrics and leathers to choose from. The expanded England upholstery section by La-Z-Boy has fewer fabric choices but delivered in about 21 days.
Reliable Home Supply also has Spring Air Mattress sets with the new line of Eco Gel mattresses, both are locally made in Old Forge, PA. Reliable’s carpet department display, La-Z-Boy recliners section and Bedroom furniture showroom can all be found on the main floor showroom.
Michael Hashin III, third generation, is the current owner and oversees all phases of inventory and deliveries. His goal is to get your appliances, furniture, and bedding delivered in a timely, professional manner.
